I just learned of this business less than a year ago. It is a small, but busy, "family" shop. I had a check engine problem on my older S10 truck, and in addition to other repairs I had the gas cap changed. I actually think it was the gas cap instead of other emission problems, as the check engine came back on after about 3 months. I responded to an older email from the company about my problem, but did not hear back, which was disappointing. Even so, I did not let that deter me from recommending the shop to my ex-husband who very recently had extensive brake work done there. He was very pleased as was I. John, the owner is very friendly, and I believe the mechanics know their business. I will soon take my truck in again, this time for some brake work. I found the staff friendly, and I was treated with respect. I am glad I found this little shop. Even the customers are friendly, probably because of the relaxed climate of the shop. So I was searching for a used car that could survive a road trip to Minnesota, and I quickly learned that having the car be inspected by Weber’s was non negotiable. Not only did they save me twice from buying a faulty car, but they also gave me a tip off that another customer was selling a car that was in good enough condition to make the trip and fit in my price range. I asked them whether they thought I should bring it in to be looked over (something that costs about $50 on average) and they said they had enough experience with the car to say they were confident in its abilities. Instead of saying “yeah, it would be safest to have it looked over” and make an easy 50 bucks (something that is entirely worth it at Weber’s) they told me that they were confident the car would be worth my time. The folks at Weber’s are about as honest as you can find mechanics, and they’ve got a professional shop in everything.
